I would {be} completely LOST without the gorgeous, and very easy to read/understand patterns from many creative people out there. You can {find} tons of adorable patterns on Etsy that have simple, easy-to-read instructions, as well as colorful step-by-step photo's.
Another favorite pattern company of mine is modkid. I started out using modkid patterns and loved how easy the instructions are to follow, their colorful fabric choices, and the simplicity of their design. I loved these {patterns} so much that I eventually decided to start selling them myself! Two of my absolute favorites are:
Julia Skirt
The pattern comes with the {option} to make the skirt in two styles, a FULL (also known as twirly) version, and a SLIM (or less full) version. Both of them look simply beautiful. It also gives you the option to choose from a size 2 thru size 7.
Kyoko
This Japanese-{inspired} dress is probably my favorite of their entire collection! I have made this in ALL sizes from 2 thru tweens, and from the top-only version to the full dress version, and don't get me started on the fabrics that you can use. One word: STUNNING!
The easy-to-follow directions have photo-instructions, and also gives you the option to make a range of sizes from 2t thru 7. This pattern is also available for adults and tweens. And the same pattern gives you the option to make it into a shirt (or "top"), or a dress as shown above.
Here is a short-sleeved, Kyoko Dress in a size 2t made from brocade silk. Out of the dozens of times that I have used this pattern, this was absolutely my {favorite} fabric used for this dress.

Have you had a chance to work with any {MODKID} patterns? If so, I would LOVE to see your work! If you haven't and would like to try, check us out on Facebook for available patterns on SALE (while supplies last).
As always, thanks for visiting!
